We’ve put together a quick guide to the gyms available in San Pedro, including budget-friendly ones and the newest names on the scene, so you can find the right one for you.
Supera Centro Deportivo Fuentenueva
If you’re looking for the best value and facilities, Centro Deportivo Fuentenueva is difficult to beat. The municipal sports centre is run by Supera, one of Spain’s largest sports centre operators. With around 30 sites across the country, the San Pedro branch on Calle Fuentenueva boasts two indoor heated pools, two outdoor pools, a spa area, a fitness and weights room, three studios for classes and four padel courts.
The branch is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 23:00, Saturdays from 09:00 to 22:00 and Sundays and holidays from 09:00 to 15:00 and 16:30 to 20:30.
Apolo Fitness Center La Colonia
Tucked away in the La Colonia shopping centre just off the boulevard, Apolo Fitness Center offers a full class timetable with more than 40 classes each week, alongside its gym floor. Its shopping centre location close to San Pedro’s boulevard makes it easy to pop in when you need to, or to combine a gym session with running a few errands.
Opening hours are 06:30 to 22:30 from Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 16:00 on weekends and holidays.
Reebok Hybrid Gym
Located on Calle Camino de la Caseta, Reebok Hybrid is a smaller, well-regarded local gym in San Pedro that packs a punch.
It offers a solid range of modern equipment, including free weights and CrossFit areas, plus fitness classes, yoga, and even an on-site café serving smoothies and healthy food.
It’s open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 22:00, Saturdays from 09:00 to 17:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00.
SmartGym – Opening October 2026
Opening in October 2026, SmartGym is set to be Marbella and the Costa del Sol’s first smart gym – a new concept assisted by artificial intelligence. The branch in San Pedro, on Avenida de la Coruña, is just off the main boulevard and will be home to the latest-generation fitness machinery, as well as an integrated app to create workouts for users should they need it.
