Something that distinguishes El Puerto de Santa María is its exquisite cuisine especially the variety of fish/shellfish from the Bay of Cadiz. As well as local traditional cuisine there is also international cuisine on offer, with a newly opened michelin star restaurant owned by Angel Leon.

There are international (bilingual) schools in the area, shopping centres, local fish and meat markets. Great motorways and road systems making connection to all surrounding areas with ease. Gibraltar is within 1.5 hours driveaway and Seville 1 hour. Nearest airport Jerez de la Frontera with regular flights from the UK with Ryanair.

The Costa de la Luz still remains to be the hidden jewel of Andalucia.
