Founded over 40 years ago in Marbella, Swans is one of the longest established international schools in Southern Spain.
The primary school and secondary school are set over 2 sites. Swans has always promoted an international outlook, with more than 600 students on the roll representing some 30 different nationalities.
The School is accredited by NABSS (the National Association of British Schools in Spain) and the Spanish Ministry of Education, offering the British curriculum and the statutory Spanish Primary and Secondary curriculum. In 2008, Swans became an International Baccalaureate World School and offers the IB Diploma Programme to students in the Sixth Form. More than 25% of the school staff are IB examiners, a remarkably high proportion which consolidates Swans’ growing reputation as an IB school.
