Part of The British Schools Foundation, one of the largest networks of British International Schools in the world whose mission is to provide excellent British style education in an international context, The British School of Marbella was founded in 2010 under the guidance of the Head Ms Sian Kirkham.
The school provides a vibrant environment with a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. Located in one of Marbella’s most prominent buildings, in the heart of town, the school caters for a student body of approximately 60% expatriate children and 40% Spanish nationals. Being officially recognised by the British Council the school provides both the National Curriculum and mandatory Spanish studies, validated by the Ministry of Education of Spain.
“A pupil’s day at school is generally busy as he or she typically juggles lessons with a variety of activities such as practice in a music ensemble, a football match and learning lines for the school play.”
