We love Guadalmina so much we made it the home of our first branch on the Costa del Sol.
This upmarket urbanisation is located within the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, approximately 10 minutes’ drive from Puerto Banus and further west to Estepona. The area of Guadalmina is divided by the main coastal road (A7) into two different locations, the beachside known as Guadalmina Baja and the mountainside, known as Guadalmina Alta.
Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, with its two 18-hole golf courses and a par 3 nine hole course is a popular club that lies within the urbanisation. Guadalmina Sur, the oldest course was built in 1959 and is located on the beachside area of the club. This course is renowned for being the most difficult, as the fairways are narrow and well protected by mature trees. Guadalmina North, built in 1973, has more water obstacles and is shorter and hillier than the south course.
Guadalmina features some sophisticated hotels, including the four-star Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort, two beach clubs, a selection of bars and a number of restaurants. The Guadalmina Commercial Centre has a good choice of amenities and services, including a large supermarket, deli, banks, numerous restaurants and cafés and many other retail outlets. The beach at Guadalmina has a pretty stretch of golden sands populated by beach restaurants and stylish beach bars.
The ideal location to purchase a home, Guadalmina Baja and Alta offer tranquil living in a beautiful residential urbanisation. Both areas have a variety of luxury villas, Andalusian style townhouses as well as several newly constructed modern style developments to choose from.
